Spring Summer Fashion Trends & Sewing Patterns 2013

I analyzed the current trends from Marie Claire Runway Magazine (I love this magazine!) and related them to the Vogue sewing patterns that I purchased at Jo-Ann Fabrics. Here are my results below. For more details on these trends, go to http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/runway.html. You can purchase the iPad edition or go to the Barnes & Nobles and buy the hard copy like I did. For the Vogue patterns, you can go to http://voguepatterns.mccall.com/ or you can visit the Jo-Ann Fabrics store.

Typical French Diet

Typical French Diet
  1. Eat smaller portions.
  2. Avoid snacking and eat only at mealtimes.
  3. Eat a wide variety of food.
  4. Don't skip meals.
  5. Enjoy your food and focus on dishes made from fresh, locally grown, quality ingredients.
  6. Stick to your internal cues. When you no longer feel hungry, stop eating.
  7. Eat less sugar. The French eat less than half as much added sugar as do Americans.
  8. Eat meals with family and friends so that eating becomes a pleasurable experience as opposed to something to "fit into" a schedule or feel guilty about.

Food is Love

Food is nourishment. Food is joy. And good food, honestly prepared, feels a lot like love.

My Personal Declaration on Life

Life is so easy!
Life is so good!
All good things come to me!
I deserve all good things life has to offer!

Create a Secret Shifters List:
  • beautiful memories-i.e. nature
  • future events-i.e. with the person you love
  • favorite music

To know what you're thinking, ask yourself how are you feeling?
The feeling of love is the highest frequency you can emit. The greater the love you feel and emit, the great the power you are harnessing.

"I am so happy and grateful now that I have a loving and supportive husband. Also, I'm starting a clothing business that will become successful and lucrative." ~me.

Step 1: Get clear about what I want & ask for what I want. Place my order with the Universe.

Step 2: Believe that it's already mine.

"See the things that you want as already yours."
Claim the things that you want by feeling and believing that are yours.

Step 3: Receive. Begin to feel wonderful about it. Feel the way you will feel once it arrives. Feel it now.

Random Notes relating to Emotional Freedom Techniques

Attracting abundance with EFT.
End the struggle & dance with life.
Mind the body, mending the mind.
Food as medicine.
The power of intention.
The power of positive thinking.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." Anais Nin.

What does my soul want to learn?
Find & trust my own precious voice.

Things are speeding up. Only those who love themselves can love others, that only people who claim their own voice can hear the true song of another. Learn soul lessons.

To love myself mean to listen to myself, listen to my pain, honor my desires and dreams and let go of what I thought was “supposed” to do.

This time I dance! Trusting the journey of creating the work you love.

These are notes that I took a while back and don't know the source anymore.
